Megan Puschmann

Megan Puschmann

Megan started riding when she was eleven years old in her home town , Townsville. Megan had riding lessons with a lady named Beryl Sabadina. Beryl had taught Jenny to ride in Cairns in the late 1970’s!

As a child Megan rode at pony club and showed horses at hack shows. She was also interested in harness driving and was involved in training and showing horses in harness.

When Megan was 13 she got her own pony. Also like Jenny, her first pony was an Arab. Megan and her pony dabbled in as many ‘horsey’ sports as they could including halter showing, harness, hacking, western, pleasure, trail rides, jumping, sporting in local breed shows and pony club competitions.

After studying politics and History at James Cook University, Megan moved to Brisbane and joined us here at Riverside in 2005, where she is now working towards her EFA level 1 coach accreditation.

Megan has had plenty of experience in coaching before moving to Brisbane as she is a Black belt and instructor in South Pacific Tae Kwon Do!

Megan is riding and training the delightful four year old warmblood gelding by Windemere, Wilbur.

Since being at Riverside Megan has attained her Horse Riding Coach Certifates three and four. She has also attained her EFA NCAS Intro level coach certifate and is well on her way to attaining her Level One.
